This early November weather, and a perfectly timed full moon, made for the perfect night for a bear hunt at Learn 'n Grow Early Childhood Education Center!
This annual event is a fun time for our preschool families to all experience our nature trails and enjoy a story and adventure, too!
There were 10 stuffed teddy bears tucked away in the trees along the trail that families had to find. The kids carried a clipboard with photos of the bears so they knew what to look for. Everyone came with a flashlight to search high and low for them. Our nature trails are also lined with a story walk; these are plexiglass-covered stands that each display pages of a book so families read the entire story along the path from start to finish.
Along with the fun of finding the bears, each child went home with a free book. Learn 'n Grow hosts an Owl Hunt for families in the spring.
