Landon Eastman

Senior Landon Eastman is heavily involved in service to his school and community and was rewarded for his good work and character with the 2024-25 Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen award. “I strive to be the best person I can be every day, so to be able to get the recognition from my teachers and administrators is a very blessed feeling to have,” he says.

The DAR Good Citizen Award goes to one senior each year who exemplifies qualities of good citizenship like dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.  Landon is the Student Council President and a member of National Honor Society, Purple Committee, ESS Club (Empowering Students to Serve), ACCF TAG Team and volunteers at various events. This award isn’t something student’s apply for, it’s chosen by staff based on who you are and what you do, which Landon says makes it mean even more. “I have based my high school career around service, and that is what this award represents. Being able to win this award shows that what I have done is making an impact, and it fuels me even more to make a bigger impact in my current and future communities.”

Eastman is also the Class of 2025 Valedictorian, graduating with a GPA of 4.46. He’ll attend the University of Notre Dame to major in Civil Engineering with minors in Bioengineering and Business on a Pre-med route to one day become an anaesthesiologist. No doubt, giving back to his community is also a part of his future plans. “I will continue to do great things within my community and exemplify what it means to be a DAR Good Citizen.”
